People (Me) Are Devastated by the ‘Wicked’ Movie Announcement

“Isn’t it nice to know that good can conquer evil?” Glinda will sing-ask in the Wicked movie musical. Only those of us who have lived through the content famine since the dark day in 2004, when Universal made plans to develop Wicked into a movie, know that good cannot conquer evil. Evil rules everything around us. I am not being dramatic. This is the normal level of concern for someone who has been in an 18-year holding pattern waiting to watch a green woman belt a sustained F-note while flying on a broomstick.
